I was fortunate this year to celebrate OT Month by going to my daughter, Morgan's Middle School AG Class taught by Suzanne Dixon and talk about Occupational Therapy. The students were a mix of 6th-8th graders at Chicod Middle School located in Greenville NC. In addition to learning about our field as well as getting to play with some adaptive equipment we talked about how the OT profession is such a great way to give back to the community. I know it's a career I love and perhaps I have inspired some future OT professionals!
