Mental Health & Behavioral Health | Audience Level: Intermediate

The purpose of this workshop is to empower occupational therapy practitioners (OTPs) to address the occupational domain of sleep and sleep disruptions among adults with behavioral health conditions. The role of OTPs in addressing sleep in this population will be reviewed, grounded in OT theory, and outlined through OT-informed approaches to assessment and intervention. Through an interactive course component, participants will learn how to collaborate effectively with other team members while advocating for OT involvement to promote improved occupational engagement.
