Physical Rehabilitation & Chronic Conditions | Audience Level: Introductory
This course/workshop delves into the essential roles of the lymphatic and circulatory systems in filtering and transporting interstitial fluid, waste, and proteins within the body. Participants will explore the pathophysiology of hypertrophic scars and fibrotic tissue to gain an understanding of how these conditions can impede lymphatic flow. Through practical demonstrations, learners will acquire effective taping techniques designed to soften scar tissue, alleviate skin tension, and enhance lymphatic drainage, ultimately promoting improved range of motion, healing, and recovery.
