We’ve got a new look and a new website

06/14/2026

Come check us out!

Hi ”there”,

You spoke and we listened!

NCOTA’s website was in desperate need of a little face lift so the Board got to work! For the last 6 months, we’ve been working hard to get our new website up and ready for you.

NCOTA’s VP, Clarice Grote, used her previous web design experience to put together our new site and to create our new logos. Here’s what she had to say about her design process:

”I wanted our logo to reflect the diversity of our state by highlighting the various landscapes from the mountains to the ocean. As a tribute to our former logo, I kept the North Carolina state shape and used a similar font. The colors were influenced by a picture I took at the Smokey Mountains.

The website will give NCOTA a more financially stable way to grow our member engagement opportunities. There is still a lot of work left to do, but we’re getting there. I hope our members feel represented by our new logo and are excited to get some new merch!”

FAQ for the New Website

Why isn’t my password working? Not only did the website get a new look, we entirely switched platforms. We switched away from Memberclicks and to a wordpress website. This means, we had to create all new accounts. As a result, your old passwords won’t work and you’ll need to set a new one.

How do I reset my password? To reset your password, visit ncota.org/login and select “forgot password”. You will be sent an email with a link to change your password.

What if I didn’t receive my password reset email? There are two potential causes:
  1. The email went to your spam folder or it needs a few moments to arrive
  2. Your membership may have expired before mid April/early May, so your account wasn’t transferred to the new website. A new account will need to be created.
How do I create a new account? Simply visit ncota.org/join and sign up for a new membership. You’ll be prompted to enter an email and password when you check out and this will be your new account information.

I got an email that my membership is expiring, what should I do? The easiest option is to visit NCOTA.org/join to create a new subscription or transaction. If you have an existing account, you’ll be prompted to log in when you enter your email.

I already renewed my membership, but I’m still getting notifications that it is expiring. Just ignore those emails! If you visit your payments or subscriptions page, you should see your membership with “active” next to it. The expiration emails are automated and will stop soon. This is a temporary issue from having to create new accounts.

As with any new tech, there will be bumps along the road! Please reach out to office@ncota.org if you have any questions or need assistance.

Warm regards,

Your NCOTA leadership team
The best way to support OT advocacy efforts in NC is to be a member of NCOTA.

We rely on member dues and volunteers to support all occupational therapy practitioners, students, and educators in our state.

Without you, none of this would be possible.
